Where is Middlebury going?

Are there other alumni out there concerned about the ongoing transformation of Middlebury from a small, excellent liberal arts college to a glitzy new university with a commercially produced logo that is totally non-representative of the college we love? Has anyone besides me sworn never to give another dollar to the strange new behemoth?
